About Oregon Medical Press
Oregon Medical Press is a small, family-run publishing house created
in Portland, Oregon by John Boik in 1995 to publish his first work,
Cancer and Natural Medicine. At the time of its initiation,
John was operating a Chinese medicine clinic in Portland. In 1996,
OMP moved to Minnesota where it is now run by his family. Although
John now lives in Houston, TX orders are taken and books are shipped
out of the Minnesota office. His mother, Dolores Boik, runs the
day-to-day activities. It truly is a family affair. Because we are
small, we can offer personal service to our customers. We care about
each and every book that passes though our office.
